I was named by my grandmother after the Princess of Iran; the second wife of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran. She said she imagined I would grow up to be as beautiful as my namesake. She forgot to mention how that princess lived a life of endless sorrow to the day she died.
I did grow up to be beautiful (haha), but my early adulthood was stricken by infinite grief and unceasing depression, mostly self-inflicted. I finally found my way as belated as when I got into my early 30s, reformed and reborn, so to speak. Life isn't always easy, believe me. It never is and never will be. But today I am humbled by my imperfections and experience, and I am grateful for the countless blessing I am given. Praise the Lord, Master of the universe.
I'm a desperate housewife slash graduate student, moonlighting as a hack writer. I love the holy trinity: caramel macchiato, cake and chocolate, and I have a secret, sinful obsession with jasmine tea. I worship one Lord and I live with my gorgeous (not! haha) husband in a pigeonhole in the city. I am enslaved by two snobbish cats, and I have a love-hate relationship with reading. In my free time, I enjoy mini sewing projects and daydreaming about living in one of the houses I've built in Moonlight Falls. In Sims 3. Haha.
Currently I am a cancer patient, diagnosed with endometrial adenocarcinoma some two years ago. I tried alternative healing, which worked like a charm and cost me about MYR60K. I gave up, became a pauper and I am finally resorting to the conventional medication. I am scheduled for an OP on the 13th of January, after which I hope I am alive to keep updating this blog.
Ask me anything. Life is an open book, and I am too.
